Herz & Lang’s Visitors from England
On the 1st and 2nd of October 2009 a group of six housing specialists from England travelled to Weitnau, Germany in order to visit projects and consult with Herz and Land GmbH about the potential use of Passive House standards for future housing projects in the U.K. The visitors comprising of three housing sector professionals from InSpace Partnerships and three from Catalyst Housing Group saw projects focusing on the domestic sector for both private and shared dwellings.

"We are here to learn from experts such as Dieter Herz," said Julia Moulder, Director of Development from Catalyst Housing Group.

They left with a stronger understanding of the passive house concepts and potential, as well a determination to incorporate these design and planning ideals in to future U.K. projects. The visitors chose Herz and Lang specifically due to their commanding market standing in the passive House and energy efficient building sectors as well as their continued success at breaking new ground within these fields.
